6 Customer Reviews

  • "Unfortunately the house was not clean."

dirty linen in laundry basket, dirty bedding left in washing machine. Dishwasher broken top arm faulty so very hard to close door. Dirty crockery in both oven and cupboards. Oven clock timer not working so could not set timer. Absolutely massive TV in very small living room mounted very high up on wall. Documents said it had several channels but when we tried to watch them we were asked to sign into account. We were unable to get heating working in downstairs bathroom so freezing cold. No plug in kitchen sink so made washing up very difficult.

The property

Quirky and welcoming terraced house with eccentric décor and great social spaces to truly make your holiday unforgettable Upon entry through the compact enclosed internal lobby, you step into the front sitting room where your eyes will naturally gravitate towards the many pieces of art that adorn the walls.

The sitting room has a large comfortable 4 seater sofa, as well as a cuddle chair where you can relax and unwind.

The sitting room is cosy and inviting, with low level lighting that encourages a homely atmosphere.

There are board games and puzzles for your group to enjoy and a large TV with access to Disney+, Netflix & Amazon Prime.

The stairs leading up to the bedrooms is accessed from this room, as well as the door leading to the dining room, kitchen and ground floor bathroom. Leading from the sitting room into the dining room, the art and interesting pieces continue.

The dining room is a great space with optimal room for socialisation.

There is a large dining bench, which allows guests to dine comfortably together, giving you the opportunity to fully appreciate and enjoy your time as a group. There is also a sofa in this space, allowing guests to sit and enjoy some peace and quiet, away from the TV.

The sofa converts into a small double bed, suitable for two guests. As you go around the corner towards the courtyard, there is a high butchers block table directly opposite the kitchen doorway.

This handy spot provides an additional area for guests to continue to socialise together, which also makes it easy to include anyone that is busy in the kitchen, ensuring that all guests feel like they are a part of the group! The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of equipment at your disposal.

It has a double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, full size fridge freezer and dishwasher.

There are plenty of cooking utensils should you wish to cook at home and guests are welcome to enjoy the kitchen's dry goods to enhance their meals.

There’s also tea, coffee and sugar available for guests to use, so you only need to bring the milk, which we hope makes you feel right at home as soon as you step foot inside. Leading off of the kitchen is the main bathroom with a decadent roll top bath, available for your use. The enclosed rear courtyard is accessed from the back of the property and has outdoor seating and a barbecue available. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests.

The vibe up here is a little more calming and relaxed, with gentle dusty pink walls and a few pieces of art to keep you entertained. Bedroom 1 is a twin room with deep comfortable mattresses, perfect for a good night’s sleep, as well as access to the three piece shower ensuite bathroom.

Towels are stored on the wall rack and there is plenty of hanging space and hangers for your clothes. Bedroom 2 has a very comfortable double bed and access to a TV for those evenings when you want to snuggle up and chill out.

Again, towels are stored on the wall rack and there is plenty of hanging space and hangers for clothes in here too. The property has gas central heating, with an easy to use hive hub.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £250.
