Just outside of the village is Maidstone, well-known for being the largest town in Kent, where you will find a wider selection of amenities and attractions, including the Maidstone Museum, Mote Park, Kentish Lady River Boat, Vinters Park Nature Reserve, Fox & Goose, The Rose Inn and Rock Robin on the Green. From here you can easily access the stunning surroundings of the Kent Downs AONB, where activities such as horse riding, cycling, hiking and wildlife trails are all on offer.
