Heading a little further from the cottage will lead you to the market town of Tenterden with its wide selection of independent shops along a beautiful tree lined high street, Leeds Castle, a great family day out, and a whole host of stunning National Trust houses, gardens and numerous other wonderful locations. For those who like the great outdoors, there are some great local walks leading to local villages, which can be finished with a stop at the local pub for a spot of refreshment.
