The nearby village of Arreton boasts arts and crafts studios, a farm shop and two popular pubs for enjoying delicious locally sourced meals at the end of a long walk. The sandy beaches of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor are all within a short drive, as is the market town of Newport with its medieval castle of Carisbrooke.
