Within 0.4 miles there is a shop and within 0.3 miles there is a pub and a beach, and please note, there is no smoking and no pets allowed. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for open fire, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Shingles is a wonderful escape to the Isle of Wight.

Area Situated on the south east coast of the island, this lovely town has something for everyone! It is home to the longest stretch of beach on the island, extending six miles from the chalk headland of Culver Cliff in the north, to Dunnose Head in the south. This glorious expanse of sand provides excellent bathing, and facilities for all kinds of watersports. Blackgang Chine is perfect for the young and young at heart, with attractions such as the Hall of Funny Mirrors, Giant Hedge Maze and a 100m fast boat slide. The Shanklin Chine is also well worth a visit, with its dramatic waterfalls and deeply shaded paths. Boasting lovely coastal walks and spectacular scenery, Sandown is known as one of the sunniest places on the South coast, making it a perfect holiday destination for all.
Region The Isle of Wight, with its beaches, unspoiled scenery, rich heritage and over 500 miles of award-winning public footpaths is a walker’s paradise, or if sailing is your thing, the renowned annual Cowes Week is not to be missed.
