Terrible don't book this accommodation. On arrival at night , we started to look around the barn while checking the bedrooms we found mouse droppings on the bed sheets and towels , dead flys all over the place , sheets all marked, kitchen cupboards, cutlery draw, sink , chopping board , benches all covered with mouse droppings. Cooker dirty and fridge freezer dirty. Blood on table . Shower not working. We were very disappointed and had to leave and had to spend more money getting a hotel and a different accommodation. We travelled from Cornwall for this accommodation. Very dissatisfied with the help we didn't receive with syske cottages as well.

House is perfect for 4 adults and 4 small children as there are two large bedrooms and two small bedrooms. Wonderful garden for small children to play in. The covered play area underneath the open section of the barn was used constantly by the children aged 2-6.

Lovely peaceful location.. Fabulous barn conversion. Loads of room, even with six adults and two dogs! Loved the log fire. Photos do not do the barn justice. I would book again if I was coming to the IOW. Be aware that it is in a valley and phone reception is bad, but ok if you change mobiles to internet phone settings. Only little suggestion would be to put something up to hang washing outside, maybe retractable clothes line, there is room. There is a clothes horse, but not ideal and washer/ tumble drier not really environmentally friendly.

The barn set in a beautiful location was excellent, it filled all our needs.. The beds were comfortable, however there was a lack of decent mirrors/full length mirrors. Even though I am on holiday I like to be able to check that I look OK. The sofas were comfortable, which was good, some cottages are lacking in comfortable lounge furniture. The kitchen was cramped but very well equipped. We enjoyed the table tennis and having the outside eating area. The barn was generally clean but the windows were filthy. We were lucky with the weather and had some beautiful sunsets behind the barn, however these just proved to show up how dirty the windows were. Obviously this did not spoil our stay and we would definaltely go back again.
