We had a lovely week at the Stables.. Everything was very good. It was lovely to come back to a warm house after being out. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well placed for everything. It’s in a very rural place and therefore we felt very safe and the whole holiday felt a complete switch off from the current news regarding the pandemic. We hope to return. Many thanks to Sarah and her staff.

It is a very comfortable and cosy cottage.. The heating was much appreciated during a November visit. There is no level access to the cottage, both back and front entrances have steps and although it does not claim to be suitable for the disabled the existence of a ground floor bedroom might lead one to expect that it was. Perhaps this should be made clear in the details.

The description of The Stables is all true. We had a lovely week despite the appalling weather. It was nice to get back to somewhere warm and comfortable after a damp or wet day out. We had hoped to have a barbecue or two on the lovely terrace but as I have said the weather was against us. Thank goodness for numerous National Trust properties in the area. We enjoyed them all. The Mappa Mundi at Hereford Cathedral was inspiring. A longer trip to Stratford on Avon for the theatre was well worth the journey.

This was a wider family get together of 26 ranging from nearly 80 to 10 months.. We had a wonderful time and most asked if we could do the same next year. The under twelves took full advantage of the garden and playroom. We all walked in countryside that I knew very little about. We were even given permission by the priest-in-charge of the beautiful church next door to hold our own family service on Sunday.A thoroughly good time had by all

Rented both The Stables and the adjoining Tack Room over the Christmas period and descended with family, dogs, presents and food to find the place impeccably clean and beautifully warm, with fully stocked kitchens and a Christmas tree!
It was wonderful to let the kids and dog run free and explore and whilst we didn't venture very far afield it being Christmas the absolute highlight of our trip was when Sarah invited us to a local Nativity/carol service on Christmas Eve complete with hay bales and live animals - it was absolutely magical....
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, fabulous trip.

It was especially good having activities such as pool & table tennis on site.. We all loved the location of Little Cowarne as it was close to Bromyard, Ledbury & Hereford, towns & city having a lot to offer.
Sunday lunch at The Three Horseshoes pub was excellent.

The cottage was clean and modern.. The setting was rural and quiet which suited us. Quite a trek to shops so would recommend that people take initial supplies tea, coffee etc. The games room adequate but would benefit from an update. Would definitely return to this cottage when staying in the area again.

The complex that The Stables is on is undergoing some building work.. It wasn’t noisy but it didn’t look very nice.
The WiFi didn’t work at all during our stay. There isn’t a hairdryer at The Stables

The cottage was easy to find despite arriving late at night, thanks to the additional directions on the website.. The owner also came by in the morning to check that everything was ok which was a really nice touch. The cottage was exactly as described and presented in a clean and comfortable way. Highly recommend the pub in the village!

A well-resourced, flexible accommodation. Very quiet spot, but lots to do within a short drive and lots of pleasant walks around. The cottage was larger than expected and very well presented. Everyone was really helpful and the owners were thoughtful and easy to get hold of if needed.

The Cottage was fantastically situated in between Hereford and Leominster with plenty to see and do. We visited Berrington Hall and nearby Bromyard which were both lovely. The cottage itself was clean and spacious. The living room sofas were really comfortable. Bedrooms were modern, and the beds we could have slept in all day if it was not for the babies waking up! Kitchen had everything you could need. Overall a lovely place to stay, close to a lovely pub up the road.
