Wow, what can I say about The Granaries? It was amazing. We arrived and were met by Kate, who welcomed us and our dog, showed us around, including a welcome basket of tea, coffee, milk, fresh ciabatta loaf, brie, cheese and sparkling water. A lovely surprise and enabled us to settle straight in without having to run to the shops. Kate and Jonathan were a joy , they checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, had information and advice on where to go and what to see. They also have us some home grown produce, which was in season, and baked us a cake! They could not have made us feel more welcome.
The conversion has been done beautifully and to a high standard, and was comfortable and clean.
Locally, it's a quick walk into the village, which had a corner shop and a couple of pubs. The Red Lion was really friendly and we had a good dinner there one night. Basic pub grub, but done well.
Overall, had a really relaxing break and would happily recommend and visit agsin. Thanks
