Area The Herefordshire market town of Bromyard is situated between the town of Leominster and the cathedral city of Worcester, and also close to Hereford and Ledbury. Bromyard has shops, cafes and pubs, as well as an annual folk festival. The Bromyard Downs and Bringsty Common are on the doorstep, ideal for long walks. Leominster, dating back to the 7th century offers fine examples of architecture, such as the Priory Church, and Worcester is well worth visiting, with its vast array of amenities and historic sites. Also within reach is the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and further afield are the Shropshire Hills AONB and even the Brecon Beacons National Park. Other places to visit are Ludlow with its 500 listed buildings, Tenbury Wells, and the ‘town of books’ Hay-on-Wye. Bromyard is an ideal base for exploring Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire.
