The living areas include kitchen housing an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer and a living/dining room with TV. The bedrooms include a king-size with TV, a standard king-size, a single and a double, serviced by a bathroom. There is also one double sofa bed, that can be made up on request. To the outside is off-road parking for one car and a lawned garden with furniture. This property will take one dog however smoking is not allowed. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Within a mile or less there is a shop, pub and beach. Choose The Old Cottage for a delightful base in Hampshire.

Only 5.5 miles south of Christchurch, on the south coast, lies the clifftop village of Barton on Sea, which is adjacent to the busy town of New Milton. Located near the eastern tip of Christchurch Bay, Hurst Castle is visible to the east, Christchurch, and Hengistbury Head to the west. There are also stunning views across the Solent towards 'The Needles' on the western tip of the Isle of Wight. In the direction of Lymington, where you can board one of the frequent ferries to the Isle of Wight, the seaside route meanders beside the neighbourhood golf course. Visit the National Motor Museum or the breathtaking gardens at Exbury, and explore the lovely New Forest National Park with its wild ponies and charming villages. The award-winning beaches, vibrant shopping district, theatres, and restaurants of the cosmopolitan seaside resort of Bournemouth are a must-see during any trip to this region. You can also visit the charming riverside town of Christchurch or the surfer-friendly Avon Beach at nearby Highcliffe.
