Everything was perfect! Booked Rough Bank Barn for a friends birthday and the accommodation was fantastic. The hot tub and BBQ area was a great addition to our stay. The barn was in immaculate condition, very clean and big. There are various places to walk and to take in the views and countryside. Beds were extremely comfortable and the accommodation had everything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend

We booked this accommodation as the one we booked to stay in was filthy. The property is stunning , the drive up to the house is a little scary because if you met another vehicle you would be stuck. The kitchen…. That’s the worst …. Pans, cups , plates were dirty. The dishwasher does not work, it leaves all plates glasses full of grit! We had to clean before we could cook as many items were so dirty. The hot spa, was filthy, the wooden seats you sat on were slimy , we came out quickly and had to shower as we stunk of pond, it was awful. If you can see passed all this , this is a great place. Attention for cleanliness needs looking at____

10 old friends reuniting for a long weekend of walking/cooking/relaxing - couldn't have asked for a better stay or indeed better hosts! Very dog friendly with a generous utility room with underfloor heating.
Would definitely recommend for families or groups, brilliant facilities, immaculate on check in, very comfortable, stunning views - hot tub and BBQ hut a big bonus!
We hope to return :)

Lovely cottage which would have easily have had a 5 star review had it not had been for the fact that it is next door to a children's home. We were unaware of this until we had a knock on the door from one of it's distressed teenage female residents at 23:30 hours on the first night. To cut a very long story short, and a Police visit in the early hours, we could not have the relaxing family holiday we all wished for. Unfortunately our concerns were not taken very seriously by the host who overall was very pleasant. If you don't get any late night knocks from teenage runaways, you will have a great time.

The lodge is beautiful with lots of amazing decorations both inside the house and outside. The garden is just perfect with a stunning hot tub. The BBQ area is the highlight of the house, its simply the best. When we arrived everything was spotless. Perfect place to stay especially for big families, we really enjoyed ourselves.
