Vida Verde’s rooftop terrace is fantastic. We’re not going to lie, it doesn’t come with the best of best views, but we like that it’s equipped for having a good time – both summer and winter. The home itself also sets the scene for socialising, whether it’s cooking up a storm in the kitchen or over dinner. The immediate area is incredibly vibrant. Other than boasting several restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, you’ll also find plenty of independent boutiques and cool brunch spots.
Home truths: *It’s split across two floors – be prepared for some up and down
*The downstairs bathroom was a little tired-looking – the grouting, in particular, could do with some love
*Shoreditch is a bustling part of London – it can get noisy at times
*We noticed some wear and tear in the kitchen
*If you’re a light sleeper that needs blackout curtains, the ones in bedroom two might not do the trick for you
*The Wi-Fi is slow, streaming services like YouTube may not work properly
*The shower pressure is on the lower side and could be stronger
*There's no full-length mirror in this home
