Kids under 12 aren't permitted, but families with older children or groups of friends will settle right in. Plenty of the city's best bits are just a stroll away, including the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, and St James's Park. Charing Cross is close by, plus bus stops to put London right at your fingertips. Indoors, the grand open-plan living space enjoys high ceilings and a private balcony with views of the street below. The kitchen is on the smaller side but it's well-equipped for prepping small meals, but local restaurants are just minutes away when you don't feel like cooking.

*The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste and feels a little dated in parts. As it was purpose-built for rentals, it's not the most soulful or charming space.
