Well, here’s the chance to stay in one of Mayfair’s historic homes, built in 1735 – this home is imbued with history (so expect the occasional creaking floorboards). We love the sitting room and its rich colours and many books. While the kitchen is on the compact side, it’s well-equipped, and there are plenty of chic restaurants and cafes to enjoy on your doorstep. There are lots of attractions within walking distance, too. We’re talking Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, and Knightsbridge, to mention just a few.
Home truths: *There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home. This apartment is on two levels as well. *The kitchen is well-equipped but compact, but there's a utility room, and there are plenty of eateries and shops nearby. *Two of the living room windows overlook a wall, so the views aren't the most inspiring. *Given the home's central spot, you may hear some street noise during your stay. *Starter toiletries are provided in this home however you will want to stock up on other essentials such as coffee/tea - these are not provided. *There is self check-in at this home - you will either pick your keys up at a nearby property or there will be in a lockbox on the premises. Your host will confirm this before your arrival with instructions. *Your host uses a 3rd party platform called Truvi for ID verification and to manage damage deposits, independently from Plum Guide. They will send you this link to fill out when you book.
