About Kensington
Affluent and incredibly central, Kensington is a great base for exploring London on foot. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are on your doorstep and so are the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums. The streets are attractive and well maintained (grand, white stucco facades aplenty) and your neighbours will be a wealthy, conservative set. Lots of positives but probably not the place to let your hair down.

Discover dinosaurs at The Natural History Museum
Not only an architecturally impressive building, the Natural History Museum is also filled with wonders. Take a day to explore, be amazed and re-learn all those things you forgot from school.
Learn something new at The Science Museum
The Science Museum is free (except for the temporary exhibits). Learn all about discovering the DNA molecule, see Puffing Billy, and be sure to check out the photography collection as well.
Ale At The Stanhope
On Gloucester Road, you will find the Stanhope Arms, a traditionally decorated pub with a great range of ales to choose from. The perfect place for a quick drink after a long day of exploring.
Walk on by...
We challenge you to walk past Fait Mason and resist the call of the cupcake or the smell of fresh brewed coffee from 8am most mornings.
Cosy up at the historic Hereford Arms
Rumour has it that this Victorian pub was once Jack the Ripper's favourite drinking haunt. Nowadays it's best known for its convivial vibe, classic British pub grub & locally-brewed Fuller's beer.
Indulge at Fait Maison
We challenge you to walk past Fait Mason and resist the call of the cupcake or the smell of fresh brewed coffee from 8am every morning.
Dine at Zaika
This 5 star restaurant provides beautiful service combined with well balanced and very delicious cocktails. It's a little taste of luxury.
Enjoy a Classic Pub Experience at The Queens Arms
A picturesque mews pub in South Kensington, The Queens Arms offers a traditional and cosy atmosphere. With delicious food, a great beer selection, and attentive service, it's the perfect spot for any occasion.
Grab a Pint and a Bite the Gloucester Arms
Solid pub grub in a traditionally British pub environment. Worth going just to try the grand tradition of Pints and Pies.
Explore the Wildlife Garden
A beautiful and sequestered piece of green in the hustle city. This landscaped garden is a celebration of British biodiversity, with native plants, birds, and amphibians. Find a seat, enjoy the sunshine, and lose yourself in the beauty of nature.
Marvel at the Illuminated Queen's Tower
Located in Queen Lawn, Imperial College London, this charming landmark mesmerizes with its beauty. At night, it is adorned with coloured lights, often reflecting seasonal themes and messages. Don't miss the Tuesday farming market nearby.
