You'll find this well-connected apartment in Southwark. The location is hard to deny. Just a short walk away is a Tube station, an array of eateries, and some of London's most noteworthy sights – including Borough Market, Tate Modern, and the Shard. But it's not just the setting that we love. The living space is modern and comfortable, with an industrial flair. Sure, the bedrooms are on the cosier side, but you'll have all you need here to feel at home. If you're looking for a stylish, central base, this is it.

Home truths:
*There isn't a proper dining table here – just three stools around the kitchen island. That said, you'll find some of the area's best restaurants close by, so we imagine you'll enjoy most meals out.
*While the bed in the second bedroom makes for a great night's sleep, it does feel a little big for the room. Space is limited, so we'd recommend travelling light. The bed also blocks the entrance to the terrace.
*This home is near a railway, so expect to hear some noise from passing trains.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a travel cot and high chair upon request.
