Converted from an old Lipton tea factory, this apartment is trendy, industrial and perfectly reflects the vibe of Shoreditch. It's both modern and welcoming, with plush velvet seating and swoon-worthy exposed brick walls. Heaps of natural light stream through the big windows, creating a dazzling living space where you can relax with a glass of wine and rustle up meals in the sleek kitchen. The whole place is stylish and contemporary, from the rainfall shower to the metal dining chairs, and it's a cool pad to call home while you're in town. Even better is the location, just a few minutes walk from Old Street Station. This is a lively and vibrant part of London, where tech start-ups share the street with nightclubs and independent cafes. The food scene here is one of the best in the city, with a litany of options no matter what you're craving, and the always-changing street art is some of the best in the world. Everything is either a short stroll or a quick tube ride away, including the City if you're here on business, just twenty-six minutes away on foot.
Home truths: *Bear in mind that this is a lively, built-up area and the flat is opposite a police station, so it will not be to everyone's preference *Due to the buzzing locale, the bedrooms and communal area can feel slightly noisy at times * This is a purpose-built serviced apartment, so guests seeking lived-in charm may want to look elsewhere *During our visit in March 2019 there were ongoing building works – please check with your host for more information *Weekly housekeeping and linen services are included with your stay
