Shaftesbury Avenue is an artery sweeping through central London, and is often considered to be the epicentre of the city's theatre district. This home is situated right on the iconic street, in a former rectory building, putting you right at the heart of all the action. It's been flawlessly converted into a chic city centre apartment, where you can chill out in style between ticking off the items on your sightseeing list. The smart open-plan layout ensures that there's plenty of room to cook, eat and relax, with a collection of coffee table books to peruse and several retro prints on the walls to admire. We especially liked the high ceilings and large windows which flood the room with light, and the collection of plants that create an urban jungle feel. Outside, you're just steps away from the market stalls in Covent Garden, and less than five minutes away from the delicious tastes of Chinatown. Catch a West End show, sip a pint in one of Soho's pubs or visit the world-famous British Museum, just eight minutes away on foot. The very best of London is right at your fingertips.

About The West End
The West End is about as central as it gets, hundreds of restaurants and bars on your doorstep and you might even see the lights of Shaftesbury Avenue (London's Broadway) blinking through your curtains. It's certainly conveniently located for flopping into bed after seeing a show, but be warned you will be sharing the area with quite a lot of tourists and you won't find many proper Londoners or signs...
