In the heart of Bermondsey, this apartment is an excellent base for first-time tourists and seasoned visitors alike. Although two guests could squeeze in on the sofa bed, this home is best for couples or solo travellers. It's also in a building without a lift, so you'll need to climb stairs – but being on the second floor means you'll have a private balcony where you can perch with a morning coffee. There's also a small desk in the bedroom if you're travelling on business. Or, if you're in town to sightsee, you'll find plenty of landmarks within walking distance, including Tower Bridge, The Shard, and Borough Market.

*At full capacity, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. It's 174cm in length and 110cm wide, so it may not be suitable for taller guests.
