While missing some of the charm of other lived-in homes, the interior of this apartment has been thoughtfully curated to create a modern yet welcoming space. We particularly love the industrial style of the home, which reflects its original purpose as a Lipton tea factory, and the surrounding Shoreditch neighbourhood. In terms of location, you have excellent access to London’s bustling financial district, many lively restaurants and bars, and for chilled weekends, the more residential area of Islington is also nearby.
Home truths: * Bear in mind that this is a lively, built-up area and the home is opposite a police station, so this will not be to everyone's preference
* Due to the built-up and buzzing locale as mentioned above – the bedrooms and communal area can feel slightly noisy
* This is a second-floor flat and there is no lift available, so prepare for some stairs
* As of March 2019, this is a brand new building so some building works may still be happening and will be viewed from the window – please check with your host before booking
* This is a purpose built home, guests seeking lived-in charm may want to look elsewhere
