From the original iron-studded front door to the wooden beams wrapped in fairy lights, every inch of this Grade II-listed cottage is the definition of cosy. We're already daydreaming about winter nights in front of the fireplace. Summer afternoons, meanwhile, call for a refreshing drink on the cobbled patio. There's also a study ideal for remote working and a freestanding copper bathtub perfect for long, luxurious soaks. Just a short drive from the popular village of Broadway, you'll be well-placed here to explore the Cotswolds either by car or on the many local footpaths in the area. That’s all our boxes ticked.

Home truths
While a bedroom isn't photographed, the quality should be consistent with the rest of the home.
This home sleeps six guests and one infant. Your host provides a travel cot upon request, though you'll need to bring your own cot linen.
The freestanding bath sits directly in a bedroom. It lacks privacy.
Free on-street parking is available here. We suggest hiring a car in this area.
Mobile phone signal is good in the cottage but can be patchy in the nearby area.
Your host provides a starter supply of firewood between October and April.
Given the age of the cottage, expect low doorways, ceilings and beams – especially at the top of the stairs – and steps between rooms.
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound-only basis.
