Area
Tetbury's ancient streets still hold a wealth of unique character. The town's history dates back to 681, but its heyday as a major market for Cotswold wool was in the Middle Ages. There is still a weekly general market in the Market Hall, and the town as a whole is a mecca for antique hunters, with numerous shops and regular fairs in the area. Forestry Commission's Westonbirt Arboretum, Europe's largest collection of rare plants, is just a short drive away, while the Regency cities of Bath and Cheltenham, Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, and the internationally renowned Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust are all within easy driving distance of the property.

Region
Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.
