On a sunny day in the Cotswold Water Park, you’d never guess it was England. This lake house is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and you’ll never tire of the view out of your glass fronted home. The Master bedroom has its own deck where you can enjoy peaceful mornings over a cup of coffee. The house reflects its natural environment, filled with pale wood, classic Cotswolds turquoise, and nautical touches. The kitchen has everything you need to make big meals for the family, which can be enjoyed at the large dining room table, or out on the deck. Those in search of serenity need not move – whether you decide to fish off your deck, or soak in the hot tub while the sun sets. The postcard-perfect Cotswolds village of South Cerney is a twenty minute walk away on foot, where you’ll find excellent country pubs and local shops. There are plenty of walking and cycling trails around the lakes, if you can tear yourself away from the water. Kids will adore the wide range of water sports available on your doorstep, including kayaking, paddle boarding, and waterskiing. The house comes with an address book of contacts and recommendations for all the best things to do, eat and see in the area. Whether you are a lover of activity or a seeker of tranquillity, there’s something for everyone in this lakeside sanctuary.
