Set in the quaint Cotswold village of Lower Swell, this traditional cottage is a great central base from which to explore the Cotswolds and country walks beyond. Dating back to approximately 1595, this stone cottage has undergone a modern transformation while keeping its historic charm – be it a cosy log burner in the beamed lounge to a Cotswold stone wall in the garden. That said, features of this era such as the steep stairs leading to the second floor and steps up to the patio may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Having said that, the centre of the village is just a two-minute walk from this home for a real taste of quintessential village life.
