May Hill and Malvern Hills tower over the village, while the Brecon Beacons can be seen in the distance. In addition to a thriving free house pub and restaurant known for serving the best Nepalese food in the county and beyond, Gorsley has a well-stocked village store with a Post Office and an off-licensing area. While the village is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is bordered by established woodlands with a number of well-liked walks, the Three Choirs Way and Herefordshire Trail pass by nearby.
