This converted stable on the grounds of a country home is as cute as they come. Inside, original features such as the porthole window and wooden beams have been retained during the renovation. Otherwise, the interior has been completely modernised, with a soothing neutral colour palette, a sleek kitchen for whipping up country feasts and a pristine bathroom complete with a tub for long soaks. Just out the door, there's an enclosed courtyard with seating and pretty views of the surrounding orchards. In the local village of Tetbury, The Royal Gardens at Highgrove are spectacular in the summer, while the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty spreads out in all directions for picturesque strolls any time of year.
