A heavenly holiday in the Cotswolds can be yours with a stay at this impressive house in Blockley. Whether you want to explore the rolling countryside, visit the charming villages, or simply relax in the gorgeous surroundings, there's plenty to keep the whole family happy here. This detached Cotswold stone house is a spacious retreat that backs onto a large garden. It's the perfect place to enjoy some Pimm's on the lawn on sunny afternoons before firing up the barbeque for an alfresco feast. If the weather isn't playing ball, then head for the dining room to dine with the soothing soundtrack of raindrops on the conservatory roof. The dining room can be accessed via the kitchen and the living room. Bright and airy, it has spectacular panoramic countryside views that are as beautiful as they sound. With seating for ten people, we’re sure it’ll meet all of your expectations. However, should you need to host more people, there’s also a drop leaf table and additional seating to accommodate up to fifteen guests. Afterwards, on chilly evenings, you can curl up beside the fire in the toasty lounge, or watch your favourite blockbuster in the cinema room. Blockley is a thriving village with two pubs, a community-run café and a little shop for essentials. It's also the ideal jumping-off point for a road trip around the Cotswolds – make sure that you stop off at some of the tea rooms and boutiques along the way. And, if you're feeling active, then there's no better way to see the beautiful landscapes than by joining one of the nearby hiking or cycling trails.
