Within 0.4 miles you will find a shop and within 0.7 miles, a pub and please note that two well-behaved dogs are welcome, at an extra charge of £20 per dog. Sorry, no smoking. Originating directly from the Old Norse word for ‘long bay’, Longhope’s main draw is its tranquil surroundings. Set in its own peaceful seclusion; you can tour the island and visit the impressively restored lifeboat museum that offers rich history on WWI and WWII or relish a hearty meal and cold beverage at one of several pubs on offer.
