Nestled in the famous Cotswold hills, this charming cottage takes inspiration from rustic French farmhouses, offering a cosy and eclectic home in one of the most beautiful parts of England. Containing quirky old furniture and art pieces, the interiors have been carefully curated to create something a little different from your standard country cottage. That doesn't mean you won't have all of the cosy touches you'd expect from a Costwolds retreat, however. The oak wooden floors and exposed brick harp back to the building's past, whilst the country kitchen will have you feeling inspired to cook some wholesome family dinners. The outside is just as impressive as the inside. Enjoy your morning coffee from the comfy armchair that faces the floor-to-ceiling glass doors, offering a beautiful view of the garden. You're in an ideal location here, just a short distance from Guiting Power, once voted the most desirable village to live in. Walk across the green fields to reach it and take in some of the spectacular scenery on the way. Once you're there, have a wander around the shops, some of which sell delicious homemade cakes if you fancy a sweet treat to take back home. When you get home after a day of exploring, enjoy a laid-back barbecue, served alfresco in the garden. If the weather's on the chilly side, take your food indoors, fire up the wood-burning stove and tuck into a cosy meal around the dining table. If you're feeling a bit sore from walking the hills and river banks, run yourself a hot bubble bath in the traditional roll top tub.
