Lovely little cottage set in the most picture perfect cotswold village.. Fully equipped with everything we needed. Able to park right outside the front door which was handy when unloading bags which was a plus.

The cost for a weeks stay at Shepherds Hay is a lot more expensive than we have paid for a cottage in the past however we certainly picked a real gem.. The cottage was beautiful and situated in an idealic, picturesque village in the Cotswolds. The weather was amazingly sunny and warm for October, perfect for walking and drinking ale in several country pubs a long the way. Everything in the cottage was of a very high quality and standard making our holiday comfortable, enjoyable and perfect in everyway.

Stanton is one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds, and a great base for exploring.. The Mount is a great pub (just a short walk) with spectacular views, but the food is only so-so (we wondered why the owners didn't recommend it). Better food in Broadway and Childswickham.
