Reviews

Lovely cottage, lovely location, perfect for grandparents and three grandchildren. One of the best properties we have stayed in. We would happily go again.

Mr C,

We just loved Dairy Cottage. It's warm and comfortable and has everything you need. It's a marvellous location with a great view. The log burner is the icing on the cake - lovely evening by the fire.

Mrs C,

We booked this property to attend a local wedding, being 5 of us plus a dog it was difficult to stay at the venue. We found the property to be in an excellent location, close to local villages but also in the countryside. The view was incredible and we could walk straight out to Bewl Water from the property, walking in the area was lovely too with lots of footpath off road. The property was very welcoming, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Dr T,

Comfy bed, roaring fire, great walks and family time! Thanks for great instructions too. Wonderful stay!

Such a beautiful quiet spot. Thank you for sharing. We were very comfortable and enjoyed lovely walks. Perfect spot for a welcome holiday and time spent with friends. I would also like to take the scenery home with me. Cottage lovely and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed the blackberries!

Liz Bennett e,

We have had a lovely relaxing stay and wish we could take the scenery home with us. Thank you.

Previous Customer,

We were visiting the area around the cottage for a weekend and it was the perfect place to come to every evening after a long day looking at castles. It was amazing being so far away from the city. The great nature around, and all the pheasants. We really enjoyed our time here with some lovely walks.

Kust family,

Fabulous stay. Thank you.

Previous Customer,

An enjoyable stay. Beds were first class and all slept soundly. Enjoyed the views and the wildlife as well as all the local NT places-Scotney, Batemans, Chartwell etc. Thanks for letting our daughter and partner stop for the day so we could all be together for the Queens state funeral on Monday. We will definitely not forget where we raised a toast to her dedication and loyal service. May she be reunited with loved ones and rest in peace.

Gibbons family,

Enjoyed comfort, double bed and view from bedroom,

Previous Customer,

Many thanks. We has a sad reason to be here-my Mum`s funeral, but it has been very uplifting to look out the window and see the pheasants and countryside. Do leave a few when you come to shoot them! They are fun. The logs were lovely on the fire and kept us very warem.

Previous Customer,

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and clean. Location was exactly what we needed ( we felt miles away from home but intact we had only driven 30 miles ) !

Miss Viki M,

Don’t live in the UK so unlikely to visit cottages very often but happy to recommend if we can!

Mr Peter L,

Perfect cosy cottage in a beautiful location

Mrs Cathy H,

We want to thank you for organising our trip to Dairy Cottage, it was all very last minute! We also want to thank Jane for being a wonderful host. We wanted to upload a review, but as we can't do that directly we've forwarded it on to you. We had a wonderful short break at Dairy Cottage over the May Bank Holiday. • Jane is a great host, we got a very warm welcome. The cottage has been put together with a lot of thought and is well kitted out. • The location is wonderful. At the top of a valley, the views are beautiful with no one overlooking the property. • Ticehurst and Wadhurst are both beautiful villages, with great pubs, delis etc. There's also Bewl water, as well as Bodiam castle, Battle, Hastings - so masses to do within 30 mins drive. The cottage is a real find. Highly recommended.

Mr M H
