Set just off Rye’s cobbled lanes, this traditional cottage is steps away from historic inns, antique shops, galleries and restaurants. Inside, it’s a comfortable and well-designed base with charming original features. At full occupancy, it might feel a little snug, but you'll likely be spending most of your time out and about anyway. Speaking of which, the local area has so much to offer – Camber Sands’ wide sandy beach is a ten-minute drive away, while lunches at local vineyards, coastal walks, watersports and golf are all within easy reach. For quieter afternoons, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve – around two miles away – provides peaceful estuary paths, bird hides and regular seal sightings.
