If you're planning a trip to the great British seaside, this could be the place. Set in St Leonards, just next to Hastings, this stylish period apartment is a five-minute walk from the sea. If you're a fan of poking through vintage shops then you're going to feel at home here. Not only is it a short walk from the antique stores and art galleries of Kings Road, but it's also been furnished by them. With odds and ends, retro furniture and statement lighting, it's an arty dream come true. The period character of the flat hasn't been lost either, with strikingly high ceilings and huge shuttered windows. Here you'll be a 20-minute walk along the seafront from Hastings Old Town, with its museums, cafes, pubs and independent shops. And it's just a short walk to St Leonard's Warrior Square station, so you can arrive by train if that suits you better.
