We had a lovely week at Rye Cottage, it is the perfect place to stay in Rye.. The location is superb. Everything was clean and convenient, even with Covid restrictions meaning some home comforts could not be provided. We would book again.

Rye House was very clean and tidy and ideally situated near the town centre for our short break where everything was accessible without the need to drive, the owner was very helpful and informative and the welcome pack on our arrival was much appreciated, Thank you..

We had very good information from the owner about the house and the area, especially with the extra Covid restrictions.. The house is very well located, 5 minutes walk from the supermarket and easy access to the old town. For our party of 5, it was well equipped and not too noisy. The parking space was a useful bonus. All in all thoroughly recommended.

The place was well equipped.. The owner had made the effort to decorate the place for Christmas and a very good welcome pack was provided reflecting the Christmas spirit. We would thoroughly recommend staying there.

The whole experience was brilliant.. The booking was easy. The owner of the property e-mailed all instructions needed and supplied lots of information for us. The house was exactly as stated, also very clean and comfortable with a welcome present of biscuits and wine. We couldn't have asked for better.

Very nice cottage, clean, comfortable, well equipped kitchen, bathrooms ok, nice bedrooms.. We appreciated the little touches upon our arrival, as well as the opportunity to arrive earlier in the day. A big plus, considering the location really in town is the attached parking lot, large enough for a large family car. We were not at all bothered by the noise, given the proximity of the pub.   in short, I think we'll come back next year

What a wonderful welcome awaited us at Rye House when we arrived for our Christmas holiday.. Not only was there a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, but a lovely welcome pack with all sorts of goodies. The house was so comfy, warm and welcoming, and far more spacious than we were expecting. The kitchen was the best equipped I have ever seen, but it was also all the thoughtful little details that made it such a lovely place to stay, like the miniature models on the light pulls. The high street of Rye is very close by, and is utterly charming to explore. Favourite memory is being by the church with bells ringing and lights twinkling as darkness fell on Christmas eve. We also enjoyed being able to go for lengthy walks on the beaches, despite the time of year - getting plenty of fresh air. There was lots more we could have done, so I would definitely go again to continue exploring the area further. A fabulous place to stay at this time of year, we were sorry to leave!

We could not fault the cottage.. It was immaculate and suited our needs perfectly. The location is ideal for the centre of town and the off street parking was essential for the bonfire weekend.

This is a lovely little house, very clean and very comfortable. Close to shops with a great coffee shop a few steps away, plenty of opportunities to eat out and some lovely little pubs close by. There was so much to see and do we will definitely be coming back.

I had a wonderful time staying here with 3 of my friends, the house is lovely and has everything you would need, Karen left us some well needed supplies of wine and biscuits, we couldn't have asked for a better host! Everything in the house was spotless! The location of the house is a stones through from the town and was lovely to explore - you are close to pubs, restaurants, shops, you couldn't get a better located house. I highly recommend having brunch in Hayden's coffee shop and restaurant, it was delicious. I will definitely be returning if they will have me! Thank you so much x

Great position in Rye.. The house was spotless and the facilities were great. The only thing that we could find wrong which we were warned about was the Pub behind the house which was noisy on Friday and Saturday nights but only really affected the back bedroom. Otherwise perfect.

The whole experience was great.. Cottage easy to find, information given was excellent. Central location. The locals were very friendly especially in the Pipemakers Arms, the pub next door. Rye is a lovely friendly destination.

The House A Tardis of beautifully presented bedrooms, spotless bathrooms and a very comfortable living space. The house was more than I was expecting. The interiors are neutral and so welcoming with the beds made up to a standard a hotel would envy. I was expecting, having an ensuite room, meant I would be subject to a whisper of a bathroom, but a light filled shower room awaited me. I could not have been more pleased! The Location The house is brilliantly located for all of the wonderful sites of Rye. You are never more than 5 minutes walk from anywhere, including a fantastically atmospheric pub (The Ship Inn) which, even on a cold night in February, provided fantastic revelry for our weekend away. We were able to park our car at the property meaning we even went further afield to explore some amazing sites near-by such as Dungeness (has to be seen to be believed). But we didn't want to spend too much time away from Rye itself as its such a gorgeous place. The Hosts Not only were we provided with a welcome pack (including wine!) on arrival we found a brilliant booklet full of ideas and tips for the area. The pack was bang up to date and you can tell throughout the house that the hosts have taken a lot of care in making the house a brilliant haven for guests.

From the outset the owner was friendly and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. The location, right in the centre of rye is fantastic. Days spent on the seaside and in the beautiful countryside of Kent and East Sussex. Nights spent in the beautiful historical town of rye with a 1 minute walk to our beds! Perfect for the Christmas festival. (Don’t miss Marino’s fish and chips 30sec walk up the road! Best I’ve had in years!). The house was immaculate and everything thought of. Thank you; we will be back!

A beautiful house in a great location! The house is clean has been decorated beautifully, stylish and comfy! Upon our arrival there was a lovely note from the host wishing us a pleasant stay which was such a nice touch! The house is within walking distance to the main town area where we enjoyed some delicious meals! I didn’t want my weekend to end! Thank you x

We had a fabulous stay at Rye house & wish we'd stayed longer.. Fantastic position in the centre of Rye. The pub next door, added to our experience because even though there was loud music & live band playing, it was our kind of music so we could sing along. We wouldn't hesitate in booking again,in fact we can't wait !!

The accommodation would have been perfect in every way but it was let down badly by the pub next door.. Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights there was very loud music and people noise until the early hours. Saturday especially as there was live music until 1.00am but noise continued until 2.30am. The ensuite room was the quietest but the other two bedrooms suffered badly. A big shame as an otherwise perfect location and property.
