The seafront is a gentle twenty-minute walk from the apartment, with its popular beach which is shingled at high tide, but gives way to sand at low tide. The splendid Victorian Pier has been lovingly restored since it was devastated by fire in 2014 and offers a range of attractions including a jazz lounge, tea rooms, and a traditional fish and chip shop.
