"A wonderful relaxing stay at this well located and spacious cottage."
In easy driving range of York and the coast, it was a wonderful place for a weekend away from the ravages of work. The cottage was really well presented and spotlessly clean. Loved every second of my 3-day break. Oh, and just enjoy the hot tub - absolute bliss after a day of hiking or mooching around York. Thank you - just what the doctor ordered.

"A beautiful relaxing space - just perfect for what we needed."
Close enough to York to explore (definitely recommend using the park and ride) but far enough that you are away from the hustle and bustle of city life and traffic. Based within the grounds of a quiet village pub, it offers the chance for a quiet few drinks and games of pool or darts. The freshly prepared home cooked meals are a great treat also. Very clean and well looked after, a 10/10 from us. We will 100% return here to stay when we next visit York.

"We loved Farriers Lodge, it was cozy and comfortable and we loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evening."
Karen made us welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Only one bit of feedback, the front door faces out onto a car park, there’s clear glass on the door so a blind or privacy shield would be useful.
Thank you for your feedback and we a happy to hear you had a lovely stay at Farriers Lodge. We have now installed a blind on the front door and we hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner

"Lovely little cottage, perfect for a couples break away."
Close enough for if you wanted a day out but quiet enough to have relaxing days too. Hot tub was well used by ourselves and nice and secluded despite being near to the pub. Will definitely return again
-
"A lovely cottage nice clean and tidy."
Meet Karen upon arrival and she showed us around the cottage. Karen and the staff at the pub were very friendly and accommodating. Gave us ice for the bottle of prosecco, which was a lovely touch. Really enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely stay here again. The hot tub was greater to relax in after spending the time visiting York. Even though the cottage is behind the pub, it was extremely quiet - Joanne & John
