Stable Cottage is a charming semi-detached cottage resting in Boldron near Barnard Castle, County Durham. The property has two bedrooms; a king-size double and a twin, sleeping four guests, as well as a bathroom with walk-in shower, a kitchen and a sitting room. Outside there is roadside parking available and an enclosed lawn garden with inflatable hot tub. Stable Cottage is well-placed for exploring County Durham and the Yorkshire Dales.

Area
The market town of Barnard Castle stands on the site of an ancient Roman fort and boasts medieval castle ruins that tower over the river. Known affectionately as 'Barney’, the town has charming cobble streets and back lanes that were first laid out in the 12th century. There is beautiful walking country right on the doorstep, with woodland walks and cycle routes, as well as the North Pennines AONB and the Yorkshire Dales National Park bot being in easy reach.
