"Quaint cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location."
Perfect facilities for us, child and dog. Very accommodating owners.

"This was our first visit to lonin cottage, but we shall return."
Small, compact cottage, just nice for 2 adults and 2 medium sized dogs. The garden is small but adequate to enjoy and sit out taking in the peace and watching the family of house Martins. Very well maintained, although we only cooked breakfast, ample crockery and cutlery. The welcome gifts of scones and jam much appreciated, plenty of tea coffeee, sugar and biscuits. Tony and peta very helpful and friendly, and live onsite in case of problems .

"Lonin Cottage is a lovely place to stay minimal traffic just the sound of the birds."
There is everything you need supplied by Peta and Tony including a starter pack of milk, scones and butter even some biscuits for the dog. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. It’ll be just perfect when WiFi is supplied to the area after Christmas
-
"Very clean, comfortable cottage."
Everything you need - only VERY minor point is that there isn't a clock anywhere. Just one in the living area would be handy. Lovely place and friendly and helpful owner.
-
"It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage with good parking and a nice welcome pack."
It was well placed to explore the locality. However we missed not having wifi/Internet especially for teenage child with us and were unable to make or receive phone calls.

"Great place very clean and tidy would book again"
-
"Beautiful setting, quiet and an ideal location for walks with the dog!"
The hosts Peta and Tony were friendly and accommodating. Some nice touches, such as milk in the fridge, hot cross buns and mini eggs for Easter, which was appreciated. The open fire was welcoming as the temperatures are still dipping at little towards evening. If I could make a suggestion - a WIFI system would be about the only improvement that could be made. Highly recommended.

"Spotlessly clean."
Owners were really nice and made every effort to ensure we were looked after. The cottage was very welcoming with a plate of scones and jam waiting for us on arrival. Other essentials were left ready for us to get us started. W would definitely recommend this cottage.

"A perfect cottage in a beautiful setting."
Great facilities, including an open log fire. Details of the local walks are all in the cottage. You can eat a hearty meal at the local Fox+Hounds where they are dog friendly too. The owners live nearby and very helpful.

The owners were really welcoming and helpful with local area knowledge. There are many walking opportunities from the cottage door in the most amazing countryside. Peace, fresh air and exercise was our main priority and Hury farm cottages delivered on all. A little slice of heaven! Amazing place and will definitely return.

"Sykes failed to answer my question regarding the 'photo ID' requirement despite trying at least to twice to ask the question."
Lonin cottage exceeded its description in many ways. The owners are kind and generous and supplied many items that one gets in a B&B or hotel; they clearly care for your comfort and the location is especially beautiful due to their gardening. If you like the countryside and the history behind the landscape then this area has it all. There are indoor visits to do if it rains but there are many walks of all distances if you are able to do those. You can 'just look' and enjoy the surroundings as they are very different to where most people live.
