  • "A lovely cottage very comfortable with all amenities needed in the kitchen couldn’t get the television in bedroom to work also the central heating as it got a bit cool at night and couldn’t get towels dry ."

Otherwise a very good weeks holiday thank you

  • "We had a lovely week at Tivoli, the house was in very good condition and the double bed mattress was extremely comfortable."

It was awkward to get to the pulls for the blinds in the top bedroom. Also we didn't like the hand basin in ghe bathroom as it was too shallow and difficult to drain. The main issue was the garden: it hadn't been cleaned, there was old soggy food littered around and quite a lot of broken glass which we had to clean before we could use it. Overall though 4 out of 5

  • "We had a fantastic stay at Tivoli Cottage and would definitely return."

We were holidaying with two small children and this place is a home from home. Plenty of space as well as comfort. The owners have thought of everything so that we didn't have to. From games for the children, crabbing buckets and so much more! We loved the coastal decor, so tasteful! High quality facilities and great instructions, not to mention the best location meaning we didn't need to drive anywhere during our stay. A big thank to the owners for making this property available

  • "We loved the cottage."

It was a perfect location for us but maybe should mention the steep hill to walk up for those less able. Also we were disappointed in only having one key between the 4 of us. We did notice the key safe was used while we were staying so was reluctant to use it while we were there. My husband would often take out to her son to the beach while I went shopping with out older child but So to keep meeting up if one wanted to go back before the other, so 2 keys would help. We did have to pay for parking on top as no where local to park. But we were prepared for this and used just park and rented a private space a few streets away. Which worked for us. The house was Very well equipped with everything we needed and we would happily stay here again. Our only issue really was the cleanliness at the time we stayed. The top of the fridge was thick in dust obviously never seen a wet cloth. I know were a tall family and most wouldn't notice. But we did. Also There was an ice lolly wrapper on the radiator right next to the sofa. Sweet wrappers in the living room and Someone else’s belongs left in the bathroom and a sock under one of the beds. A torn duvet cover and stained towels, I know things get missed but most were easy to see and all together made the cottage grubby. So I had to clean first. Not something you want to do when you first go away. The only other issue was inside the porch where you hang your coats there was a vile smell. It made our coats smell to when we left. We couldn’t work out what it was. Maybe animal urine not really sure. I think if the cleaners were better than we would have had a Perfect stay. Just a shame it wasn’t cleaner.
