Lakeside living awaits at this contemporary West Dorset lodge with a private jetty set beside the water’s edge. Part of an exclusive holiday complex surrounded by a nature reserve, the shared amenities are gold-standard. Expect an outdoor heated pool, spa, forest adventure playgrounds, recreational lakes, endless biking trails, and an on-site restaurant and rooftop bar to refuel. It’s worth noting this is a newly developed complex, and building work may be happening nearby. But don’t let that put you off. It all feels blissfully quiet when it’s time to soak up the late evening sunshine with a barbecue or curl up beside the fire indoors. Location-wise, you’re a short drive from the bustling towns of Dorchester and Weymouth and the mighty Jurassic Coast.
