  • "Well located, modernly furnished, comfortable."

Well equipped first floor studio apartment. However to improve the rating the mould, ants, and replacing the shower head could be addressed

Many thanks for your feedback, we take our commitment to making all guests feel comfortable seriously. We would have welcomed an alert during your stay, so that we could have addressed any problems. We are not aware of the presence of ants or mould but we will investigate thoroughly and of course make sure that any issues are put right. Update: we have now installed a new showerhead. • "Flat was very comfortable & well equipped."

Lots of little extras in the cupboards but i missed out on the welcome pack mentioned ( there was milk) but I assume that was because I booked last minute. My only disappointment was the ‘balcony’. A table & chairs at the end of the entrance walkway is not how I would describe a balcony. As it was winter it was okay but I would think twice if it was summer. Would i come again yes!

Many thanks for your feedback, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We pulled out all the stops to get the flat ready for you at only a couple of hours notice, so I'm afraid we were not able to provide everything we normally do for the welcome pack. The table and chairs outside the front door is a lovely place to sit when the weather is warm, it has a really pleasant view especially as the sun goes down when the light really catches the hill . Yes is on the walk way into the flat but, as we are the flat on the end no one else uses this area, so it provides a welcome bit of private outside space, in addition to the shared garden to the rear. We'd be very happy to welcome you back to the flat at any time. Property Owner

West Bay, fondly known as “The Gateway to the Dorset Jurassic Coast” and popularised by the TV series Broadchurch, lies close to the glorious sandstone cliffs of Golden Cap, at the western end of the dramatic pebbly Chesil Beach. This is a wonderful seaside location, perfect for family holidays, offering scenic walks along the South West Coast Path, as well as ample opportunities to try your hand at sea fishing, crabbing, boating and golf. Visit the homes of Thomas Hardy and TE Lawrence, the Tank Museum at Bovington or the Naval air Museum at Yeovil. Just a short drive West takes you to Charmouth for fossil hunting, to the picturesque seaside resort of Lyme Regis, and to River Cottage HQ near Axminster. To the East are the lovely Sub-tropical Gardens and Swannery at Abbotsbury, and the golden sands of Weymouth. This wonderful location makes an ideal base for a great family holiday.
