Just slightly further afield and within an easy drive, you can also access the coast at both pretty Instow and Westward Ho!, which offers a fantastic two mile wide sandy beach that is ideal for families and is also popular with surfers. Alternatively, take a stroll or cycle along the Tarka Trail, or step out on the South West Coast Path and enjoy exploring the area on foot.
