  • "It was very comfortable and had everything we needed."

Glad the fridge problem had been solved with a fridge and freezer in the porch outside the kitchen. Parking is the big problem with cars parked both sides of the road and opposite the drive, it made it very difficult to get in and out. The kitchen floor was not very clean but everything else was a good standard. I didn't see the information folder tucked under the table in the lounge so didn't realise the washing machine was in the cellar. Would recommend it.

  • "The cottage was in a good location, in a quiet residential area and there was a good bus service nearby."

However we felt the cottage required some attention to detail, the cutlery drawer was full of crumbs, fluff and hairs. The kitchen cupboard doors had marks on them. The bathroom and toilet floor was dirty which meant we spent some time cleaning. The shower screen/curtain was missing and there was no bath mat, however after contacting the cleaning supervisor, they were provided. Parking the car could be a challenge if you have a large car due to the turning angle, if other cars are parked in the road. Having said all this the beds were very comfortable, as were the sofas, there were plenty of mugs, plates, pots and pans to make meals. As the weather was very changeable we didn't get time to make use of the garden. Overall the cottage was reasonably comfortable but we felt that it should of been quality checked for cleanliness/ missing items before our holiday.

We are very sorry to hear about the cleanliness of the cottage and have passed your comments onto our housekeeping team for review. Thank you for letting us know. Property Owner

  • "Unfortunately we were without a fridge until Tuesday evening so we did lose a couple of days of the holiday waiting in for the maintenance team to turn up, the cleaning person could do with mopping the kitchen floor, I spilt some water and when I wiped it up the kitchen towel was absolutely filthy, there was also salt all over the dining room table so a little more attention to cleaning wouldn’t go a miss."

(Negatives over with) The bungalow was very nice and comfortable with a homely feel, it is situated in a great location as it is not very far from lots of places to visit, walked around the village and all the people I met were nice and friendly the park down the road is ideal for walking the dog. We are looking at booking again for later this year or next year.

  • "The bungalow looked clean but when we removed duvet cover the duvet was stained & soiled DISGUSTING."

The fridge did not work properly even on the highest setting had to discard fresh food that we had brought with us. Back garden has many potential trip hazzards. Not very easy to park on drive or road due to parking issues on the road.

  • "The bungalow was perfect."

Very central place to get to Torquay, Paignton, Totnes, Brixham & Dartmouth. It was very clean & spacious. Plenty of storage in the bedrooms, very comfy beds. The sofa’s were lovely to relax on after a busy day exploring the area. The kitchen was very well equipped even had things you may have forgotten to take, oven gloves, plenty of towels, washing tablets & fabric conditioner for the washer. The garden was lovely & secure for the dogs & added bonus was walking down the road to a large park area for walking the dogs. Certainly recommend this property & will stay again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you

  • "We had a very comfortable stay, and loved the view from the living room window."

The bed was superb with spotless linen and a choice of pillows. The kitchen was very well equipped with a range of cleaning products should they be needed. There were ample towels, oven gloves and a tea towel in case we had forgotten to pack ours. The hob and microwave were easy to use and the fridge was a good size. I liked the bench in the back garden and as long as I directed the dog to the right, once the gate was closed he was safe to roam around. The drinks and lovely packet of biscuits were very much appreciated on our arrival. We had a super stay, thank you.

Thank you so much for your kind comments, we are glad you enjoyed your stay and sitting on our brand new bench in the garden! Thanks again. Property Owner
