Area Hope Cove is a quaint, picturesque village on the East coast of Devon. It's south of Port Isaac and north of Charmouth, famous for its fossil-picking at the Jurassic cliffs. The village has a National Trust-owned beach which has some of the best South Devon sand dunes. The beach is perfect for rambling along the shoreline and the National Trust owns enough land to allow horses to be ridden. Hope Cove's cafes are varied and delicious, with selections ranging from freshly made sandwiches to seafood dishes.
Region Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Neglected property, no pride taken in presentation.
Generally very grubby and smelly. Bedding mattress protectors soiled. Kitchen tired, greasy and dirty.
Furniture tired, dirty and smelly. Prescence of rodents, droppings under sofa and by bed. Electric PAT testing 6 months overdue.
Promoted as pet free, however, evidence of dog / dogs being permitted in property. Pool area very nice, however, poolside apartments dog friendly and frequently let dogs into pool area. Couple of occasions other guests dogs very territorial in pool area. Evidence pool area used as toilet by dogs.

Nice apartment, good location. Sadly let down grungy (see photos)
Two week stay (05/08/23 - 19/08/23) family of 5 (4 adults /1 child)
The apartment is advertised as “no smoking / no pets” it was evident dogs had been in the apartment previously.
We removed the sheets to find badly soiled mattress protectors and bright yellow pillows most with no protectors.
