The first floor plays host to an open-plan living room with kitchen and sitting area with woodburning stove, as well as a separate dining room. To the exterior is ample off-road parking and an enclosed garden at rear with lawned area, patio and hot tub. There is even use of the tennis courts made available to guests. The Granary is a marvellous getaway to choose for your next break.

Tavistock has an indoor pannier market, a range of shops, a choice of pubs, bistros, restaurants, a theatre and a cinema, as well as a leisure pool. There is walking on Dartmoor, cycling on The National Cycle Network no. 27, renowned game fishing, gardens of distinction and various National Trust properties nearby. Within easy reach is the maritime city of Plymouth, Torbay, the Eden Project and the sandy surfing beaches of Devon and North Cornwall.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
