The Reading Room consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, washer/dryer, dishwasher, kettle, Smart TV and dining seating. There are two double bedrooms which are serviced by a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside there is roadside parking available and a front garden with barbecue, garden and furniture (initial supply of charcoal supplied for barbecue). There is also a selection of games available. Guests can find a shop within 3.4 miles and a pub in 0.1 mile. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Make wonderful memories with a stay at The Reading Room. Area
Stockland is a small rural village resting in East Devon, among the idyllic Blackdown Hills AONB. Close by are some of Devon's most popular attractions. The market town of Axminster, lined with fine buildings, offers much to the visitor including an excellent range of amenities and a fascinating museum. To the western side of the Blackdown Hills you will find another market town, Honiton also holds much charm along with a museum and an art gallery and a market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. After your dose of undulating countryside, walking and cycling, you may wish to head to the coast, nearby there is a choice of wonderful seaside spots including Seaton, Beer, Lyme Regis and Sidmouth (Close by is the Donkey Sanctuary, an additional popular visitor spot). All come which their own individual character and promise a fun-packed day trip to the beach with their activities and opportunities on offer.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
