Sitting on the edge of the East Devon Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty, the quaint town of Sidmouth is one of the county's most picturesque spots for a seaside getaway, in part down to cottages such as this one. The stark white walls and wooden floors are a classic combo and make for a blank canvas against which the blue furnishings and house plants can pop off. In the local area, Sidmouth Beach takes about ten minutes to reach on foot and sits on the South West Coast Path in case you fancy a longer ramble in either direction.
