Arrived at summer cottage and was full of hopes of it being a comfortable stay. Yet when we arrived the cleaning was poorly done , lots of cobwebs and dead flys aswell as a dirty microwave. Would of been nice to have a small pint of milk for a long journey when we arrived but nothing was there which is a shame. The sofas were the most uncomfortable sofas I've ever sat on and it's a very weird layout in the living room? The tv is tiny for the size of the room aswell. The banister is wobbly and in the games room , it's dirty and the glass from the skylight is about to fall down, dangerous. The garden chair is broken, the plates are all chipped, To be honest the list goes on and on , I think the cleaners that clean are the worst I've come across , the maintenance in this place doesn't exist. The area and the garden was beautiful and I can't complain about the beds or showers , but that's it. Let down and it's needs a total revamp in my eyes , such a shame for what you pay and what you get. Won't be coming back to the cottage again. X

We enjoyed our stay at Summer cottage however cleaning requires looking at . Den spilled coffee on shelf very dry some been there a while. Sweet wrappers under sofa large amount dead flies on window sills spend over hour cleaning den before we could use it comfortably normally not a problem but when during these times your arrival times have been pushed back due to EXTRA CLEANING this clearly not on this occasion. Spoilt our trip.

Beautiful cottage.. .really appreciated all the personal touches. Every kitchen implement you could think of, including a coffe machine, ...loads of games, videos, and a welcome pack, brilliant! The walk alongside the river into Salcombe is an easy stroll, and very pretty. We go away every February, and have stayed in many lovely cottages, but this was exceptional.
