The windows in the main room were absolutely covered in bird s***, which was quite offputting.. I know it must be difficult to keep them free of this, given the number of seagulls etc, but think more effort needs to go into this, e.g. getting them cleaned every two days or so. They certainly weren't cleaned during the week we were there. I would also suggest you need a much more assertive sign on the gate about no parking, e.g. vehicles illegally parked here will be towed away, or similar. almost every single time we came out of the gate there was a car parked in front of it. We ended up taking our cars round to the long stay car park the night before we left and leaving them there, as we were so worried about not getting out in time to get to the airport for our flights (sure enough there was a builders van in front of it when we came out at 8:30 on the Friday...). There were a few small things as well - no bin bags, even though information said these would be provided. All of the soap dispensers were empty so we had to go out and buy these things. thought this was very poor given the cost of the property. When I have rented other upmarket properties in the past, there has usually been flowers, or a bottle of prosecco, or at least just a pint of milk. However, this was completely no frills.
