"Lovely place to stay, but be aware of lots of hills and steps."
We really enjoyed our visit. Lyme Regis is beautiful.
We think a coffee table in the lounge and a chair to hang day clothes in the bedrooms would be helpful.
The Maintenance team were excellent with a very prompt visit when called about a TV problem but the property had some signs of wear and tare. But it served us very well.

"We were not impressed with the apartment."
It seemed as if the bare minimum of furniture and equipment had been provided. There was no saucepans, the fridge freezer compartment had not been defrosted for some time and the door could not be closed, making the whole fridge colder than it should have been. The boiler had pipes and wires exposed which should have been covered up. The furniture was either very basic or second hand/ worn.

"Great apartment, well located and well equipped for our stay."
The parking space is a bonus but it is tight, especially as not all residents follow the advice to take no more than a medium sized car. The views are better than the pictures and are lovely, the kitchen could do with some attention as it is looking a bit aged in places. Would stay again if in the area

"I'm not a person to complain but I was disappointed I'm afraid."
The microwave had not been cleaned, there were bits of food inside. There were dirty footprints in the shower and the carpets did not appear to have been vacuumed.
The small towel that was left in the bathroom was dirty, and there were no refuse bags in the apartment to put any rubbish.
Worst of all, the flat had a very large number of carpet/clothes moths emerging from the carpets in every room, which caused us to have to keep all our clothes in our cases at all times, to stop cross infestation of our own homes on our return. This spoilt the relaxation aspect of our holiday, as we were constantly having to be aware of where we were putting and storing our clothes.
I am now in the process of washing and sterilising all of my clothes, both worn and unworn, to stop any infestation, along with all of my bags and suitcase.
Also, the sofa was very uncomfortable to sit on . We had to sit on cushions because it was so hard.
The handle on the patio door in the bedroom was so close to the frame that I caught my fingers in it several times when closing it.
It also appeared that the bathroom extractor fan did not remove any condensation, and it looked as though the slats were closed on it. This left the bathroom very damp and humid.

"A lovely property in a great position - perfect for walking into town or just sitting on the balcony admiring the view."
Clean, comfortable with plenty of space - my only tiny gripe was a complete lack of welcome pack....it would have been nice to have some tea, coffee and milk available on arrival.
But that is a very minor thing compared with the overall great experience - i would definitely book again.

"The place and facilities are more than adequate and the kitchen even ha a small dish-washer under the sink unit, (tre's chic) - the only disappointing issue, was the grilling trays in the oven itself were unclean from it's previous use, (probably because it wouldn't fit in the dish-washer?"
) - anyway 'we' didn't need the use of them but removed them to use the oven to warm plates, and apologies but we didn't clean them either, assumed the cleaners would go and check all utensils and equipment for hygiene purposes, apart from this, the place was spotless, so possibly on this occasion, overlooked? - and there's no Guest Book to write comments or advisories - we would return again though, thank you!

"Fabulous flat, spacious and comfortable with great views from the balcony."
Just a short walk from shops and the gardens making it ideal to explore the area without having to get in the car (and a private parking space too - always a bonus in Lyme!)
My only tiny criticism is that it would have been nice to have a very basic welcome pack on arrival - just some teabags, sugar and milk would have been great after a long drive. But other than that, I would thoroughly recommend it.

"It was exactly as described, spacious and comfortable."
Everything had been thought of to make the stay better than home from home. The view was fantastic and we were lucky to have such hot weather ! (My only observation is that fitted sheets would have been better given the mattress protectors made it a rather "slip/slide" when turning over!)

"The apartment was lovely and airy, clean and comfortable."
The sofas are a bit tiresome. A fair few stairs to carry cases up. Only 3 dinner plates, but we ate out. The towels and bedding was good quality. The view was amazing and the little balcony to sit and enjoy it. Very close to lister gardens. 10 minute walk to the beach. If we came back to Lyme Regis we would 100% stay here again. It was an excellent location in a beautiful seaside town.

"This is lengthy but feel honesty is best…."
Loved the view. Clean and decor good though plain. Lovely shower room but a smell of drains! Could be made more homely. Needs sofa’s replacing very uncomfortable/old. Coffee tables would be extremely useful. No chest of drawers and/or dressing table with mirror for styling hair and applying makeup. ALSO it would be very useful to mention the hill climb down to town and back!!!! I use a walking stick therefore we needed to use the car to access the beach. With reservations we enjoyed our stay though we feel it is very important to mention the possible difficulty experienced accessing shops and beach for those less able. In addition our peace and quiet was ruined for the last full day by a chainsaw being used with the subsequent smell permeating the flat. We do not feel lounge seating is adequate for four adults. No live television! If my husband had not been physically able to shop we would have had a major problem!
Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay, we have passed your comments to the owner for consideration when looking at future investment.
Lyme Regis is located beside the sea but also has some steep hills within the town.

"This is a two bedroom apartment in Lyme Regis."
The main attraction of the property is the view from the living area which has a little veranda overlooking gardens and the sea. We were disappointed on arrival to find the view obscured by very dirty windows and spent the first couple of hours cleaning. The furniture is tired and stained upholstery is covered with throws. There is no provision of basic foodstuffs so renters should be prepared to bring everything. The flat is well provided with a small dishwasher, washing machine, oven and hob. Bed linen was clean and the beds comfortable. The cost of over £200 per night is high for a couple. The view is really the big plus.
I'm sorry to hear that the windows were not in a clean state on your arrival, the window cleaning is looked after by the owner, so I will pass on your comments to him. Our properties come with basic supplies to get you started, such as toilet rolls, washing-up liquid etc and most provide a hamper (tea/coffee/milk). I will pass on your comments about the cleanliness standard to our Housekeeping Manager, and apologise that the apartment did not reach our normal cleanliness standards on this occassion.

"Thank you so much for such a beautiful property!"
It has made our holiday at Lyme Regis the best ever! The sea views from the balcony (in the lounge) were breath taking. Absolutely mesmerising. The whole property was spacious, well presented and had everything one wishes to find in a holiday home. The kitchen is well equipped and purposeful. The beds were comfortable and the four of us slept soundly from day one. I could go on for ever about this especially lovely place, but what I would like to highlight is that if you’re looking for a peaceful, uplifting and exciting place to stay with your family, this has to be the one. We will definitely return to Lyme Regis and to this very property in the future. We loved it - thank you!

However, the kitchen is completely under equipped for 4 adults. Making meals was difficult with tiny saucepans and few utensils. The bathroom has a plumbing issue, it smells of drains. It was an expensive stay, but it feels little money is put into maintaining the apartment.
